My Last (hopefully) Christmas Card Design

This card is my last Christmas card design (I hope). Again, I used a card from Kristina Werner’s 2012 Holiday Card series for inspiration (day 5). Instead of grey and silver, I used cream and gold. I started by stamping the sentiment (SU) in versamark ink, and heat embossing in detail gold EP. Once it cooled, I masked it with painters tape. I took Hero Arts Classic Holly and stamped all over the card in Antique Linen Distress Ink. I had tried stamping in versamark, but the image was too light with my light cream card stock, and the gold tone of the Antique Linen worked perfectly. I finished the card by adding some cream and gold ribbon I bought at Michaels.

Thanks for having a peek 🙂
