These are the FEMININE cards I’ve done this month.. Again, some might look familiar. The dark background with flowers on it is from a One Sheet Wonder, and I’ve used it to make lots of Thanks, Thinking of you and a birthday card.
I made sympathy and birthday cards from those unused note cards (see last post), I simply used some matching cardstock to the colour, and some SU punches to make the flowers, and added some embellishments to the flower centres.
The 3-D butterflies were added to a couple of extra note cards for birthday cards.
The bicycle cards are done using some Penny Black 6×6 paper, the SU modern label punch (retired), and what I call the Banggood bicycle.. why banggood? that’s the online shop I got it from. 🙂 I just added a gem for the centre of the wheels, and used white gel pen for the flower centres.
Thanks for looking, have a great day 🙂
Well, I’ve been on a bit of roll making cards. These are all the masculine cards I’ve done in March so far, minus a few that went into the 120 card order for this month. I did two SU “Text” One Sheet Wonders for masculine cards, one in old jalopies (Tim Holtz), and the other in SU Traveler and The Open Sea (retired). These cards are simply black and very vanilla. The old automobiles, I cut and rounded the corners on the image and mat, the world map, steamer and train were all done with stitched die cuts (you can’t really see the detail in the photos). Some cards may be familiar, as I had posted some in other groupings before.
The black and white with a splash of colour cards were originally note card sets Ihad made some years ago now.. A lot of them never sold, so I took them, dressed them up, and added a sentiment. The flourish is Quietfire Designs, the leaves are SU, the umbrella man is Tim Holtz, and the wooden hand thingy is a wooden embellishment that came in a set. I think it’s Recollections.
Thanks for having a look! 🙂
These cards are also going into the 120 card order, but since they are made almost exclusively with Quietfire and SU, I decided to give them their own post. The blue marble paper is from WalMart (as is the yellow marble paper). This flower paper was from Michaels in a big paper pack… I loved the color scheme (as it’s close to Affectionately Yours from SU), but I got more paper for a bit less money :). The butterflies are die cut from Recollections Shimmer White cardstock/paper, and are from SU. The Celebrate and Thinking of You are from Quietfire Designs.. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Suzanne’s calligraphy… always have since I discovered her for myself 🙂 I did One Sheet Wonders again, and I got 14 cards from each sheet of paper. I did use a HA flourish stamp on some of the blue marble paper cards, just to add a bit of interest.
Thanks for stopping by 🙂
OK, so I have to make 120 cards for a 12 box, 10 cards per box order.. so here’s picture 1 of some of the cards I’ve done.. not all of these will go into the boxes, as I need to replenish my stash as well. All three sets were done as One Sheet Wonders. I think I made between 10-14 cards per sheet of patterned paper (some cards were already delivered when I took this picture). I used SU exclusively for the yellow marbled cards, a combination of SU and Newton’s Nook Designs for the purple and brown card sets. I have 3 sets down, I need to do 3 sets this month, then 2 a month til the end of June.
Thanks for looking, have a great day 🙂
Yes, I know I’m beyond a day late and a dollar short, but I wanted to post the Valentine’s Day cards I did. Unfortunately, I sold 1 all season….. so I am stocked for next year. I used a mish mash of products, from recollections paper, to Memory Box, Quickkutz, Quietfire Designs, Simon Says Stamp, Sizzix dies, to some long forgotten PSX, Hero Arts, Quietfire Designs, and some unknown stamps. Inks are Palette, Hero Arts and Colorbox Frost White.
